WHISKEY ECHO is a four-hour mini series set on the front lines of civil war in South Sudan. As a team of multinational relief workers struggles to deliver medical aid, natural catastrophe triggers human catastrophe when drought leads to escalating conflict and famine. Tension becomes unbearable as more and more civilians are displaced. Set against this inexorable tide of events are the small personal triumphs and tragedies that bind the relief workers to this place the rest of the world seems to have ignored. Who are these idealistic young people? This war began before most of them were born. They’re just like you and me – only they’ve stepped further into “the real world” than most of us would ever dare.
